Not to be disrespectful, but am I the only person who thought Walter Cronkite was already dead?

R.I.P., Walter.

LOL, even my mom thought he was already dead! It's kind of like Abe Vigoda, when he actually dies it'll be like "Really? For sure this time?"

No, I thought the same thing! Dad said, "Walter Cronkite died," and I said, "wait...I thought he already was dead?" Apparently not!
He always looked so old.

My mom thought so too! LOL. I could have sworn that he died years and years ago ...

...he died? {:-(

I must indeed crawl out of my shell.

I was just last weekend watching Apollo 13 with the kidlet, and I explained to her who he was, that he was a real guy, and how his being part of that film was significant and historically correct.

RIP, Walter.

That's cool that you explained Walter Cronkite to your daughter and his cultural significance.

It's okay. I haven't figured out who I am yet, so you are way ahead of me. :D

I have to admit, I did a double-think when I read the news.

Heh, I thought he died years ago, and so did my mom when I mentioned it to her.
