An interesting conversation

I have a very interesting conversation through IM today about being poly and the difference between a triad and a quad. This persons take was she could never just be a third, because she would feel to left out, so that she thought the perfect situation was a quad, with 2 couples. It was very good as well as enlightening to get someone else's

I've come to the conclusion that the only right way to do poly is thw way that works.

That is to say, there isn't a right way to do it, every situation and dynamic is different and no two situations are alike.
