So yesterday, I accidental posted a blank post. Stupid iPad. But since I got some comments on it I thought maybe I should actually post something.

Work has been crazy busy, I worked 53 hours last week including a 14 hour day. Luckily, my new pharmacy district manager saw how busy we have been and asked for extra help to be sent our way next week. ( Read more... )

Thanks for all the great book recommendations. I have enjoyed the books that you have recommended in the past like the Hunger Games and Chaos Walking trilogy. Hope to see you guys soon.

The Twelve was pretty good indeed. (Although yes, I had exactly the same reaction. Apparently if the vampire apocalypse happens, it's only strangers who die, not friends or family.)

Some recommendations:
Charles Stross' Laundry Files series (start with the Atrocity Archives)
Christopher Moore, especially "Lamb: the Gospel According to Biff, Jesus' Childhood Friend"
Also, a couple of e-books from James Tuck, starting with "Blood and Bullets" - not fantastic, but fun (plus, I really love the magic-in-the-real-world kind of thing).
