You're there...right at the point of doing something new and you second guess yourself. That's a normal reaction, but you knew that. I normally don't like any of my R-kids joined the military, but I think it might be the only way to move you out of the rut. You would be in a totally new space with new faces and new structure. I think you could figure out who you are when you are free from the baggage of the last 7 years.
I recommend the Coast Guard. You don't get shot at as much.
