People easily offended by critical analysis of 'religious' actions should avert their eyes.

The scene begins yesterday. As a conscientious defensive driving student I leave my driveway looking for other cars, bicyclists and pedestrians. Not two minutes away from my garage I encounter one of the strangest phenomenon that I have ever encountered!

I always like it when I come across a real Christian, and by real Christian, I mean the type of Christian who actually makes a real attempt to abide by the rules of their faith without trying to convert their fellow man. My manager is Jehovah Witness while I consider myself spiritually agnostic/searching. I've had more good faith based discussions with him than probably anyone I've ever known because he's the kind of Christian who is strong in his faith but realizes that everyone needs to discover their own path to that faith in God. I don't necessarily agree with him on a lot of things, but he brings forth an educated point of view that is refreshing... especially compared to the congregation I grew up in where apparently the doorway to heaven was the church door, but as soon as you left you could be the two-faced asshole you went in as.

I like talking religion with people who believe strongly & deeply enough to not be threatened by my non-belief. :)

I've got to get out of Texas. People like we've both described are almost non-existent here. Or if they do exist, you'll never find them. You'd never bring it up to find out!
