  • The Bloody Chamber - Angela Carter. Multiply recommended whenever I mention my erotic fairytales series (which yes I am not doing very quickly, MY MUSE HAS MPD)

Ha, I think she means perl - either that or it was a hilarious computer programming related pun and I did not get it. Also, I would totally vote in said poll - solipsism or no, it would give you something to do :-D

other way round I'm afraid - purl is the stitch, perl is the programming language.

Perl, Purl, Pearl? Wikipedia thinks the stitch is spelt "Purl", and the programming language is "perl". I thought it was "pearl" until now...

Bloody homophobes. And don't get me started on homophones.
