I think those people need to concentrate on ending forced female genital mutilation instead. There is no health benefit to that practice at all and much that is horrific about it.

The Forced Female Genital Mutilation iirc Happens mainly in Africa, Happens to Young women and not infants and it actually removes the clitoris and not just the clitoral hood. Which of course makes it a truly diabolical act.
I do find it to be amazing how we think we can somehow influence and control what Tribal people in third world countries do to each other. Possibly if Missionaries of some sort went to explain to the misogynists in those tribes that is better that the girls don't get their bits sliced off at puberty. Perhaps that is why they focus on circumcision here in the US and Europe instead, because they are not risking being run through on a spear or executed by an AK 47 for speaking their minds.
