I've never had this happen before, and I was always afraid of the possibility, but my chickens are committing cannibalism. It isn't at a terrible degree which I'm super freaking THANKFUL for jdguererwq ;__; but just enough to get me flipping a few times. She's bleeding at a space near her cushion and the sweep of her back, where she and the other birds were plucking feathers and picking wounds. I was horrified to find the goopy red mess on her beautiful silver feathers and blood on her companions' beaks so I removed her immediately. It was pretty gruesome urp.
Cannibalism is a problem with chickens on occasion. They pick on each other all the time on a natural basis because of their strict pecking order, but not to the point where they're EATING THEIR FLESH. You know why they're doing this? Chickens begin eating each other out of nothing but BOREDOM. Ahahaha. Boredom is caused by small living spaces. We're fixing this problem today by moving the young pullets out of their coop and in with the older chickens, since they've outgrown their old pen. Unfortunately, that also means parting with a few birds too. s-sob /;A;/
Larry is still persistent about getting Mom to change her mind about the divorce. I-I wouldn't mind if she did... I mean, my whole life is changing way too fast and I kind of think she should have taken more thought and consideration into her decision-making before going with a divorce... No counseling? Hardly any communication? I'm sick of her telling me she stopped loving him. How can you do that? How do you stop loving something entirely? Maybe I'm too childish or blindsighted to understand or something, call me what you want, but it DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME.
Although I wish Larry would stop mentioning how he wants the HOUSE back. Um. It almost makes it seem as though that's all he cares about. :U;;; He came over this morning aaaaand began a begging routine that I had to wake up to. A lot of it was a little disturbing to listen to. I'm just... tired of all this. It's such a long, painful and drawn-out process.
