I want to make an intelligent comment on this, but all I keep thinking is YES YES YES YES. I love Adrian's assessment of Rorschach, where he's right and where he's wrong, and Rorschach being grumpy instead of outright aggressive, and nnnn I am so, so glad this exists.

I think it's because Adrian is someone that Rorschach both dislike - and respect.

Heheh, while the two of them have a crapload of differences, I think they'd have to have a bit of grudging respect for each other - they're the two characters in the comic with the most self-determination. It's mainly their actions that drive the plot forward.

(Also, I kinda think that Ayn Rand would approve of Adrian's status as a self-made millionaire, his emotional restraint, and his inhuman willpower...)
