There's a really good book of Buddhist essays on consumerism called Hooked! that I have found very interesting and insightful. Luckily our local library system had a copy, so I didn't even have to buy it. ;-D

Yeah, I bought a Pema Chodron book this weekend, but the accumulation of Buddhist "swag" seems rather, er, iffy.
