My mother delightedly told me this morning that it looks like the legislatures are on the fast track to voting prop 8 repealed. I have a good feeling about it. Problem is certain laws need to be changed ( Read more... ) -
It's a bittersweet day for me
Obama wins, Democrats are gaining back majority, prop 2 passes, prop 4 doesn't. A few disappointments otherwise, but pretty much everything I voted and prayed for happened just as I'd hoped ( Read more... ) -
I was always a tad over zealous for Halloween
Already bought my costume for Shivaun's fair thing at her church next month. It's October 24th and I really can't wait. Of course because I'm excited for it I'm sure something's going to pop up that keeps us from going. Though I figure if mom and dad have a schedule conflict I can find a way there. Just found my missing place card
Was in one of the boxes my parents took home. Found it first look. Awesome.
Just finished collecting all the pictures posted by other people. Mostly Jackie cuz her mom took a lot of pictures during the service. I'll post some soon of myself, but there weren't any nice ones of me. All the ones of Shivaun and Chris were great.

So about a week ago I was following my usual Monday routine and taking Hershey for a walk while my mom tutored Erik. We get to the gate, and I pulled out my gate key. Rest in Peace
Last night around midnight my paternal grandfather died peacefully after being in the hospital for over a month. He wasn't well, but he wasn't sick till he checked in over a bad flu.
I can't make it to the funeral. I have to register for a class the day before the funeral in New Jersey and we all decided it made more sense for me to house sit. But ( Read more... ) -
I haven't updated in a long time
Not much to say I guess. I've started eating yogurt and carrots for lunch everyday. And I ride five miles on the excercize bike every morning. I'm trying to regulate my weight a little better. I don't mean I've started dieting, I'm just having smaller quantities for the most part. Having the same lunch everyday has actually helped. As has ( Read more... )
