Shorthaired solid black kitten, called Bombays. Really want two, like having siblings! HELP!!! If you know anyone with these, please let me know. Searching online for a breeder has really gotten me no where since they aren't like a massive breed. They are basically an American shorthair... I just want solid black! Can't have a long haired cat,

The closest relative (and may ease the breeder search) is the Burmese, IIRC. I searched at work and couldn't find any Bombay breeders close to you; but maybe checking http://www.petfinder.com/ might help? There is also http://www.breedlist.com/seekers.html; start mailing some of those people so they'll let you know when there's a new litter.

(Also - are you looking for Bombay as the specific breed or just two black cats? Gotta stick up for my inner rescue goddess - black cats are consistently declined at shelters and are always plentiful ;) )

Must be a very shorthaired black cat... Bombay's are what I have seen that I can put a name to.
