It's the Easter Bunny!!!

In case some of you didn't know this, Easter is actually one of my favorite times of the year. I gave Xan his Easter lesson according to Scarlet Goat and asked if he would like Jesus on a stick for breakfast! LMAO! Of course, he settled for french toast and oh man... its so yummy!!!

Saturday turned out to be an amazingly beautiful day! This is how I want to spend Easter weekend EVERY YEAR!

Xan and I got up, ran to Starbucks and then proceeded to Walmart properly juiced up. My little Grasshoppa was coming over to do crafts with me and I was planning on cooking dumplings. My mom called and asked if I had gotten to borrow a lawn mower, which I hadn't, so she brought hers over. Now that was awesome! I totally love cutting the grass, best stress relief ever! Outside, in the beautiful day, letting the sun come down on you as your sweating out impurities. I got the back and front done, all weeds pulled and we found some great little plants growing over on the side of the house on top of huge clover patches all along the fence. So pretty! Then we dug holes and got all 3 of my hibiscus plants in the front yard. They are the peach colored ones. One of my favorite colors! All the while, Elsa came over and I got her set up in the craft room where she proceeded to sew bunches of the prettiest pillows!

While I jumped in the shower, mom went to Walmart to get some top soil, plant food and mulch! Awesome! She even bought me a huge bag of weed and feed so I can make my backyard look amazing this summer. Bob is happy as ever in his clean back yard. Now I just have to kill all those damned fire ants! I called my Fairy Godmother to come over and it was a house full of beautiful ladies. We had an excellent dinner and then we proceeded to some yummy Berry Weiss beer. The conversation totally became entertaining once the boys went next door and it was just my mom, god mom, Kerry, Elsa and myself. Ladies, you have so much to learn from ladies such as my mom and god mother.

I learned yesterday that even after 20 years of being divorced from my father, my mother still cries over the loss of the love of her life. That the pain trully has never gone away and honestly, I think she still has this tiny little light of hope. Tiny as it is, she still has it. I love both my parents, but seeing my moms tears over my dad really showed me a piece of my mother that explains who she is and why she is with me. She doesn't want me to be in her position. She totally understands my sadness and didn't say "any" negative words towards him. My day with her was just amazing and I didn't want her to leave. We are planning lots more weekends of her being over here and doing lots of stuff together. Sitting here thinking about it all is making my throat close up and my chest tighten.

After she left, Kerry, Elsa and I were proceeding to watch "The Reaping". Before hand though, the boys come running over wanting to do the Quija in Xan's room where I told them no way! My house is so full of positive energy that without proper guidance and supervision, were they even remotely allowed near that board. My house is full of magic and love! This satisfied and scared them a bit to know it "was" a bad idea. lol...

The movie was great! I screamed like 3 times and laughed at the fall of the dead frogs. After the movie, we sat and talked for a good while. Then it was time to put a drunk goat to bed! I got Elsa all tugged away in mine and then crawled in to Xans with him and Bob.

Got up this morning feeling wonderful! Windows are open again and I just feel happy.

Did I mention that to top my night off I received a message of sweet ass kissing from a very pretty individual? LMAO! It definitely made me a little floaty and happy.

Ok... Now what am I going to tear up today??? Coffee is a brewing and flowing in the veins of The Scarlet Goat Queen!

Oooh... AND I GOT YOUR BOOK ALEX!!! Love you sister! I will start it tonight once I settle down.
