I Am Covered In Morrissey Sweat

Sep 30, 2004 03:53

When we arrived at Curiosa we discovered that the tickets they were selling at the box office were better tickets than the ones they'd sold us through Ticketmaster... So this time we didn't buy through Ticketmaster. We went to see Morrissey with no tickets. We planned to buy them there.... But they only took cash. Bear had to walk to find an ATM ( Read more... )

My god, you are so lucky. At this point, I would do just about anything to see Morrissey live. ANYTHING.

And I saw the Cure at Curiosa and they are quite possibly the most amazing band to have ever graced their presence upon this earth. It was definitely the best show I had ever seen. I miss it.

Yes. =)
I am hoping to see him when he plays in LA but I am really low on funds right now so I'm not sure if seeing him is going to work out. But I am pushing for it, maybe as a birthday present since my birthday is only a few days before. :)

And that's really neat that your daughter likes the Cure. Aw! <3

Wow! I'm glad that you got to be so close and rub sweat drenched Morrissey clothing on you. Your concert experiences are fabulous.

You know, I have never been to a concert where a band has played more than 90 to 120 minutes. It's always bugged me. Mary J. Blige got mad because, due to union time constraints(which I am ok with for a few reasons), but I was like if she had really wanted to sing so much longer, she would have come out earlier, you know? They've got these things timed perfectly, so I don't understand why they couldn't take off 10 minutes of making everyone wait so she could sing 2 more songs. Blah.

hee hee! you make me laugh.
Disgusting men like to hit on me too. I don't understand why. Maybe it's my butt - I have JLo's butt (which I am not pleased about, may I add).

If I were a man or a lesbian I would appreciate a fat ass on a woman. I've always found them cute. Weird?

Yeah, I know Morrissey is a barrel of laughs and lightness and fun. Not at all pretentious. Oh, no. (although I do like that song "Girlfriend in a Coma").

I'm glad you got to smell his shirt.

And of course men hit on you. You have a skewed perception of what you look like.

Yeah, he's pretentious... but he actually IS kind of a barrel of laughs... and lightness and fun. No, really.

Why don't attractive men hit on me then? D: I'm too fat for the guys in suits to look at. I wish fat wasn't a factor.

Oh, well... I already have the best guy in a suit (sometimes), so it doesn't matter.

I don't care what you say. breakableheart September 30 2004, 17:16:28 UTC
He needs to CHEER UP!

I'm eversoglad you had a good time. I think it's really funny and out of character (the way I imagine you) for you to be doing all this rock show groupie shit. Makes me a tiny bit jealous. I just can't do the big arena shows. I get so... overwhelmed by the people and smoke and loudness and... you know. See, this is where we flip-flop personalities, I think.

I'm going to paint my nails blue and style my hair now. How's my lipstick? Do I look girly enough? (OK, now I'm just teasing you)

No, seriously, he's fun!
It's not out of character. I'm somewhat bold. I'm not meek. Did you think I was meek?
