Yesterday, I made peach crisp to take over to a friends house for dessert. Peaches are just in season here so it turned out beautifully and tasted so good. Here they are before I put the crisp topping on, just sprinkled with some brown sugar and cinnamon:

Oh dear Lord, those muffins (and the peaches, too) look good. Gaah. And I haven't had my breakfast yet, so they look even tastier.

The muffins are really easy to make, all you have to do is wait for some bananas to get overripe and then this is the recipe:

Cream 1/2 cup butter/margarine together with 1 cup of sugar and 2 beaten eggs,

then add 1 tsp baking soda and 3 crushed bananas.

In a separate bowl, sift together 2 1/2 cups flour with 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp baking powder. Then, beat this mixture in alternately with 1/2 cup of milk.

bake at 350 F for 20-25 min, or until tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
