Well it's been a while since I made a post. always read to see what everyone's up to but just don't have much to say myself. but been kinda nudged to make an update ;)

For starters.. I'm stil alive ;)

Tis the Glyn :) good to see you are alive, I know what you mean - Dundee just went totally shit, hence why everone left. It might be worth looking into whether you can get the council to transfer you to another flat in a different city - just a thought. Anyway You should definately update more :)

I thought about council flat. it would sort out the problem of how to find a place down there but that's all council would do. I'd still be the one responsible for moving (and paying for the move) the other thing is it's just like putting yourself on the coucil house waiting list, you have to sit around waiting till whenever they find you a place and hope it's in a good area. if/when I get the money together to move I'll look into it, but right now there's no point asking them to look for a place if I can't afford to move there. *le sigh*

No doubt when I go I'll want to be like you and pop back every now and then to say 'HI', but that's understandable

What a nice surprise to see an update from you! It's a shame that Cage got so rubbish. We've all got very happy memories of the 'good old days' :) I'm still down in Surrey but do make it up for the holidays when I can. You haven't been forgotten Glyn and people do miss you

I always thought it was a bit funny you went to Surrey, that's where my family was originally from. both parents grew up and met there before moving on and grandparents were stil there for a long time before they too moved to other places. Crawley to be precise.

I was glad when you got out of here, moved onto better thingsand got a life ;), hope you're doing beter than me keeping in contact with the others.

Surrey is a beautiful area. I live in the middle of nowhere and it is gorgeous but it can be a bit isolated and the price of living is rediculous! Unfortunately it's too high for what I'm earning, so I'm hoping to have moved to Glasgow by the beginning of next year. I do really miss Scotland sometimes and I miss my family. It has been tricky staying in touch with friends. Weirdly I see Laura less now she's in London! I don't get weekends off work so it proves a little difficult having a social life as everyone is always at work when I'm off. Next time me and Laura are both up for a visit we could maybe get everyone together! That would be fun

Sounds a bit funny, moving all the way down there only to come back up to Glasgow, must feel like a yoyo lol
Shame that the costs ae too high though, it is a lovely place.

I can understand missing family, haven't seen mine for way too long and with being up here I missed seeing my nieces and nephews grow up.

Wow now there's an icon from the past! I'd almost given up hope on you! It's nice to see that you are still alive - I know what you mean about cage, I gave up on it months ago tbh. I heard you cut your hair and shaved your beard, but when I've been in Dundee I've been too busy to meet anyone except the people I'd arranged to so I do apologise. Didn't email you either as I knew you wouldn't reply, but I did always get reports whenever I was in Dundee so knew you were oki!

Glad to hear you're alive and kicking, I'll be in the Dee this weekend but it's for Vixy's birthday so I don't know if I'll be out and about... anyways *hugs*

Well I did more or less shave my head, was down to just a few millimeters lol but it's growing back. as for beard.. right now it look like I'm a hermit, birds could make their nest in it :p

Well if you hear about any pub trip this weekend let me know and I might drag my ass out.

well kinda, I still have the same mobile but it's been dead for more than a year. I stopped using it so gave the battery away to someone who needed one.

I have thought about moving to Ed a few times, but frankly I miss Wales. been up here for more than a decade but still see Wales as 'home'
Moving or just visiting other places might be nice but it's only going to be a tempary relief and I'll know in my mind that it's not were I want to be. *le sigh*

Party might be cool, Damned too if I have the cash.

Well, hopefully you'll get the money sorted to get back to Wales. And hopefully everything else will slot into place too...

The Damned gig should only be about £14 I think, cheap for a band of their stature... And I may even find a way to get you in to meet the band... ;) That oughta convince you... :D Party's definately a goer though, just not sure of exactly when yet, we're just signing for the place this week... Will keep you posted, sir.

Well money's been a bit tight due to 4 people staying here, 2 with screwed money so relying on begging/borrowing from people. but 1 is moving out and other has money coming in now so that should help :)

stalking?? no no no - i said 'lurking' - i thought lurking happened in dark corners but another lj friend who writes fan fic recently told me what 'lurking' is and theres been a huge shyte fight in lj about it - 'lurking' is when you read other ppl writing and don't leave a comment - particularly fan fic writing i think ( ... )
