Gene's Party
Michael and I went to Gene's fabulous birthday party last night and saw lots of people we haven't seen in quite some time. It was awesome- see the pictures here. Also, if you are on my list here and know others that would enjoy the pics, please forward them to my web album.

yesterday we took part in a yard sale- we brought just a portion of our junk, which i have really been trying to get out of the house- over to nancy guss's house and sold $100 worth. which was pretty amazing to me because i was just going to give it away. unfortunately, now we have to go back there today and either stay and work it or bring all our ( Read more... ) -
pittsburgh
i went on my first business trip on tuesday- to pittsburgh of all places- got back last night. i went with a coworker/friend, which made the trip much more fun. the conference was in the hyatt that is connected to the airport by an enclosed bridge, so we never actually went outside. i learned a couple things: i hate to fly (it's been since october ( Read more... ) -

vacation/graduation
(from thursday) yep- going to orlando to see josh graduate college. michael's such a proud daddy... josh did really well in school. we leave in about 5 minutes. on friday we are thinking of going to cocoa beach. not sure what's there besides the famous ron jon's, but soon we'll find out ( Read more... ) -
Sambuca
we had to put sambuca to sleep this morning... i know somehow i should make this a more eloquent post, but i really don't have it in me. we were up most of the night with him, and thought the morning would never come. we miss him already, but we know he is at peace now. goodbye sambuca, we will miss you.

my high school in enterprise- destroyed
i hated going there every day. it was like torture, but somehow it's still a blur. maybe because i drank most mornings before i showed up. i didn't speak to many people, and most people didn't speak to me. i was invisible there. occasionally people would make some offhanded comment about me worshipping the devil or killing babies and eating them.
