Don't worry. It pisses me off too when people leave in the middle of conversations just b/c they find something better they wanna do, and I hate it when people refer to people I know as "their friends" when I know them too. I'm glad that Seth doesn't do that. But alot of times, when people are going out, especially for such a long time as you and John have been, they adopt elements of each other's lives like becoming friends with the other person's friends, and they share so many things that it begins to feel like nothing is just their own anymore. Maybe John just felt like he needed something of his own, like he needed something or some people to emphasize his self-identity so he will be seen or can see himself more as an individual and not only as one part of a couple. Just a guess. So basically, you're not overreacting at all. In fact, I have a story for you which I will post later. And you think that you overreact...

That made me feel better, thanks Elyse. Me and John talked and, surprisingly for me, he immediately, before I gave any sign about how I felt, told me that how he acted wasnt very considerate. Etc, etc. And I talked to him about stuff, and things are better. I didnt mention the my friends thing though. See, I think the part that annoys me also is that one of their parents is leaving the house to him for a week, and Im invited to the party. And yes, its somewhat through John and Kristen, but if he didnt like me/know me at all, he wouldnt invite me. So we are sort of friends, like in the process where we both know that we probably will be friends, we just arent really there yet. So John will have to deal. He has the band (which is made up of a lot of those people and stuff) which is his own thing, but them as people dont need to be his own thing too. SO, we shall see. Thank you Elyse...post!
