Hmm, keep on trucking with the french.. Have you ever thought of going up there and just living and learning..
My house mate did it for a year (China) and now she studies it.. but she had a better understanding after living it. :) I'm sure you'd pick it up brilliant if you did. :)

I understand more than I can speak, but that's because I have grown up around it, although it wasn't spoken enough for me to actually learn it *sigh*
I will definitly keep going though, even if I have to go into town to learn, or bully my dad into actually teaching me, I've already been set back once before at school, and I'm not going to let that happen to me again. It frustrated me so much because I KNOW I would have been great at it at school, and it's something I would have used all the time, unlike the majority of people who learn a language at school.
