As upsetting as everything is and with so many bad things going on I'm glad you guys still have your relatives around to spend Christmas with. Even if it's not under the best of circumstances.

Yes, it was sad, yet nice to be able to spend time together.

And, I'm sorry to hear that you and Rob are going through so much. My family has a history of cancer, and so I've dealt with other family members being sick, but none that are very close to me. I hope Rob's father recovers. I have dealt with a grandparent in declining health, and it was rough. I didn't like to talk about it that much. Sometimes the best thing to do in that situation is to just ensure the other person that you'll listen if he needs to talk, and just leave it at that. A comforting hand on the shoulder will sometimes help, too. Good luck.
