I was surprised to realize I hadn't made a fannish post in ages when it feels like all I do is talk fannish, but the downside of hanging out with fun, articulate people is that all your fannish conversation gets tucked away in comments and comms.
So I sat down and started writing a tl;dr post about how I still haven't watch "The Next Doctor" and how I was a little pissed at New Who because even though it's "my" Who and I really like the Doctor/Rose story, warts and all, my baseline Who experience is now skewed toward "romance". And now that I'm better versed in Classic Who I realize "romance" is an anomaly rather than norm but I'll always be looking for it because I imprinted like a baby chick.
But then I bored myself so instead I'm cribbing a meme from
misscam:
Ask me anything: all types of fannish opinions, good, bad, and ugly. I'm screening all comments so ask me anything fannish-related and I'll answer (in a separate post) with complete honesty.
Any tv show/book/movie that you're pretty sure I've mentioned in the past is fair game, as are thoughts on general themes and trends in fandom/fiction. Even lists of love/hated characters. Anything, even my thoughts on slash ships.
As said, comments are screened so you can ask whatever you want without being ~revealed.~ If you don't care about being revealed you can let me know.
Gloves are off, babiez. This is your chance to pin me down and make me talk.
