Counting Down

It's nearly WhoDay and I can't wait. I think what I'm most excited about is the story becoming the Doctor's story once more. Not that I don't love me some companions but it seemed like a good chunk of S1-4 were The Companion Tales. Maybe Moffat won't go there but I have a feeling he is more enamored with the Doctor than he is of the companions ( Read more... )

I like his Doctor better than Rusty's Doctor, which is probably at least a bit cos Moff seems more interested in him as a character. Whee!

Exactly. Moff loves the Doctor, Rusty loved the companions. Both are okay but I was ready to rest drive a new story and it was wonderful.

And we all know RTD wanted nothing more than to *be* a companion which I think colored his storytelling.
