But seriously - she finally, FINALLY makes one decision all on her own and is whisked away and declared "mad" and "protected" by the people who have manipulated the shit out her for three books. I liked Katniss because she wasn't perfect and a bit selfish (in that her primary concern was protecting those people she considered "hers")and I really wanted her to be able to say "I DID THIS" and let the chips fall where they may.
Instead she gets to decide whether or not she wants to have a baby.

Collins had a hard time writing endings of any kind, in all three books. It was less of a problem in 1, but was bad in 2 and atrocious in 3.
