Very, very well done. I'm loving where this is going, and Julie's internal struggle. Landa loves exploiting those who are weaker than he is, and I really like that you've made Julie aware that she can't compete with him intellectually/emotionally.

I just want to add that when I saw that line when Scarlett had added it all I could imagine was Hellstrom sat in a tank playing with Dinosaurs as Landa looked on from the doorway.

YAY! I'm glad somebody (other than Quinn) picked up on that line. It came out and I was like "oh, well, that's great, I'm quoting Firefly now" but it fit so, so well.

And yeah, Julie's struggle makes for great fiction--my fear is that I'm not going to be able to write him as well because he's so emotionally remote and intellectual. *sigh*

Also, and fyi, you have only yourself to thank for the subsequent chapters because I was really planning on just leaving this at 1...

I normally loathe het, or anything with original characters but this is written beautifully. I love the way Landa is written, in particular. Almost very Hannibal Lecter. I like it, a lot.

I also never comment so I'm totally at a loss in THAT regards too. ;__;

And this part has taken a slightly different turn from the sexy-talk of the first,become much more intense and with a lot more at stake.
I love surprises! By the end I was like this:0_0
Interesting the way Landa appears to be giving her the concious choice of falling for him in one of two ways, but she is actually falling for him unconciously.
Landa is in total control and she is under his spell without even being aware of it- he seems to run rings around her.

"Later, Julie would say he kissed her and he would wonder if that were quite true. It happened so quickly, so easily that it was as though they were always kissing"- This is my absolute favourite line! So beautiful the way you've pre-empted the kiss, and given a little glimpse into the future.
Really intrigued as to where this is going, and naturally i'm looking forward to reading any further chapters!

Yeah, I was really torqued when I first got down to writing this one because I'm obsessive about characterization and not going OOC (with canon characters and original characters btw) so as much as I wanted it to go sexy times, it wasn't working and pity the fool who walked into my office while I was writing that because that realization wasn't pretty!

I'm glad you liked that line, it's one of my favorites too, more coming soon!

This is written brilliantly. Never once am I bored while reading the dialogue. I too have trouble reading stuff with original characters, but I truly enjoyed this. Very well done. :]
