Mmmm, stunning!
I was so excited when I saw you'd posted this, I was about to go to bed but I couldn't without reading this first!

There's so much to love about this chapter, I don't even know where to start. And you included BITING as well, another of my favourites!

I thought this paragraph had so much resonance:
He supposed he should feel guilty. But then, why? Hans didn’t understand guilt, the way he saw it, if one felt guilty then it meant one did something wrong. But if one took the time to consider ones actions, if one acted decisively, then how could one ever feel guilt simply over making a decision? Of course it was entirely possible to make the wrong decision, but there was no need to feel guilt about that. Simply acknowledge the mistake and do what must be done to correct it. He did not see the mark on Julia’s body as a mistake. Actually, he quite liked what it represented. It's just SO Landa, IMO. Seriously ( ... )

You know it never entered my head that he wasn't married, to be honest. I mean, a guy can live like a bachelor and still have a wife somewhere.

Also, I'm glad you think I'm nailing the character. Sometimes I worry I spend too much time thinking about it.

As to where it's going--oh, we've only just reached the rabbit hole.

I'm sorry to keep quoting your work back to you, but I have to tell you I love these lines:

"..so why hadn’t he insisted she be brought here to this house with him?
Julia sighed again in her sleep and murmured something that could have been his name. He smirked. That was why."

and~

"He had reached for her once more after the initial coupling, as the storm abated he woke her from her doze, pressing her onto the mattress, enjoying her startled gasp as he entered her from behind, her front pressed into the bedclothes. "(unf, the mental images this gives me)

and~

"One couldn't manipulate someone else into falling in love (which was entirely what he intended doing) without becoming at least a little infatuated oneself. It echoed something he said to her"

Oh please, I LOVE IT when people take the time to point out exactly what they like.

You made him such a sick bastard. I mean we ALREADY knew that he was, but this just proved it even more. To the point where he uses her for his own sick games. Or Rebellion as you put it.

"You didn't allow me to," she pointed out. He wondered again if her superiors knew what they were doing when they sent her to him. It was going to be much, much easier than he thought. And he'd enjoy it.

That was just pure gold. He is such an evil asshole, he liked being in control and she was just allowing it. Almost loving it to a point that it's almost painful to read. it's very a sick masochistic relationship right now, and I adore it to pieces.

My god, I think I've fallen in love with you. Haha.

Well yeah, their relationship is NOT candy hearts and puppies. But that's sortof why I like it. It's just soooo fucked up.

Anyhoodle, yay, I'm glad you're still enjoying it! Cause it's going to get worse...

Oh I'm glad somebody likes it! Quinn and I were just wondering if maybe it's going too dark too fast and now everybody's more creeped out than intrigued by him.
