I also had a massive jet lag-fueled cleaning binge (what else is there to do in the middle of the night?) during which I discovered that what I thought were great big gouges out of the lino on the bathroom floor were actually slicks of paint. Which came off. Bathroom gleams now. Apart from the mould under the shower seal. I hate that.
