See.. she wanders outside.. and into the yard next door. The house is *abandoned* and the crawl space is open, so she hangs out under there.. NEVER in the street ( Read more... )

We gain and lose allergies our entirre life. As our body goes through changes (pregnancy can be a major change on ones bod.) Allergies can either develop or go away. I became allergic to bear about 4 or 5 years ago. (Talk about a bummer, huh..) So be prepared, you may have allergies now, when you didn't have any before.

ditto on that. my ex-husband swore he didn't have allergies until we moved to New Mexico. Discovered Las Cruces has an imported olive tree that causes people who never in their life experienced an allergy to start nonstop sneezing, itchy throat and eyes (miserable new experience) It may be a "hay fever" sorta thing that cycles. especially since there is flora and fauna up there that are not in so. cal which may be producing this.
if you have insurance check into an allergy scratch test, they check you against typical allergies and local plants, etc.
And worse to point out- unlike the lies that doctors tell us. my allergies have grown worse as i have gotten older, not allieviated as they said it would.

until then I swear by Tylenol allergy sinus to stop the sneezing - give it about 20 minutes or so to take affect. some people become drowsy, but I don't. in other words when all else fails - medicate.

I have rad insurance... but I just think it's something in the air up here. I just haven't put my finger on it to squish it! :D

It seems the drier areas affect me more..

As for the Hay Fever... once you get it.. IN NEVER GOES AWAY! It's a type of virus that *bonds* with your body/system.. but you have to be exposed to it for long periods of time! My mum grew up in the San Joaquin Valley (Coalinga to be exact) and she had very mild sypmtons sometimes..but it can get worse.. and has cause fatalities I believe. But I used to spend weeks up there during the summer in my youth, so it is possible I received a mild strain. And hasn't been activated since I have been up here in Nor Cali!

And the funny thing.. shortly after I wrote that... I started feeling better..hehehheeheh!

My body is strange.. but heals miraculously fast... go figure!

I had kinda heard that you can gain or lose allergies.. but wasn't to keen/sure on it! (And can you believe I was in the medical field too... giggles)

That DEFINATELY sucks that you are allergic to beer!! I remember from faire. But there are other things you can drink!! :D

But my bod didn't hit any wierd stages while or after I was pregnant.. so I guess I was lucky!

hey you, just in to say hello.

i used to have the worst hay fever allergies. i still have reactions when i'm out at southern faire, but luckily my body waits until sunday night to break down into fits of epidemic sneezing and misery. but other than that, ever since i moved to socal, my allergies don't bother me. perhaps it's all the pollutants in the air that drown out the dust and pollen, or perhaps it is because there aren't enough flowering plants in the area. who knows? personally, i'm just happy that i don't have to take antihistamines all summer anymore.

anyway, enough of that crap. have a happy chewbacca.

Southern California doesn't have the Ragweed tree that causes a lot of hay fever. did they have it where you lived? My mom loves it here, despite the smog she doesn't have anywhere near the hay fever she used to have in Illinois with the ragweed AND the humidity to make it extra-special torture.

ANATOL!!!!!!!!!!! *dances in circles*

Glad you stopped by.. into my world of scarlet insanity!!

Yes, I think the crap that lingers in the air in So Cali is good for people who have allergies...:D There really aren't to many *flowering* plants or trees in So Cal... so I guess that is another prevention! I only had to take antihistamines a few times.. adn that was almost 2 years ago.. because, as you read.. it killing me!

That really sucks that your body goes into made fits of sneezing.. but I'm glad it waits til Sunday!

Talk to you soon.. and the pict from the truck of you guys came out RAD! :D
