but being disappointed with yourself is just as bad as being disappointed with other people.
The enemy isn't you, or them, but disappointment itself. Redirecting it from others to yourself doesn't help!
(I was just having this same conversation with Sharan, only it was anger with others, then anger with herself... everywhere anger anger, everywhere disappointment disappointment- so unhealthy! breathe, accept, let go and transcend the vicious cycle!)
hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that- and you have to treat yourself with the same respect, mercy and compassion that you treat others!
thanks visa <3 i'm aware that it's unhealthy, & that i ought to treat myself with compassion. I am trying. (Have been) and will always be trying. Thank you i appreciate it :)

"So extremely disappointed with her whenever she succumbs to anger. She doesn't have the right to be disappointed with people in the first place."
Would you catch yourself saying this about someone else, say, a close friend? Because remember, you're your own closest friend!
Be careful please, because this is the sort of thinking that drives people to places I really don't like seeing people go to.
Be good to yourself <3
