[Earthquake] [Mini-Scene!]
((This scene is VERY BACKDATED. Sorry! It takes place the Saturday night after Matt attacks Adrian during the earthquake/break out event.))
Matt: *It wasn’t until later that evening when Matt(and Shoe of course) were completely safe and alone on the motel bed that he felt it.*
Matt: Shit… *Growling through gritted teeth, he glances up from where is head was previously buried into a pillow. Shoe, who is cutely curled up beside him, tilts his head curiously towards Matt, oblivious to his former owner’s pain.*
Matt: *Wrapping an arm around his right side, the former actor lets out a small hiss of pain at the contact with his ribs. Adrian has obviously done more damage than he would have assumed. The adrenaline and pure rage that had kept him from feeling anything earlier when he was terrorizing the young woman, had vanished. Now, in the silence of the motel room, the pain was gripping him and apparently was refusing to let him go.*
Matt: No worries, Shoe. It was well worth it… Every moment of it.
Matt: *Still, not even aching like this would cause him to step into a clinic. Instead, he squeezes his eyes shut and slithers an arm around his beloved cat. His face softens almost uncharacteristically at the touch.
Matt:: *Shoe curls up against the human and soon both man and cat were fast asleep, only the sound of the feline’s soft purrs filling the room.*
