Have you ever noticed how awkward the word "awkward" is?

Honestly, is there another word in the English language that is more quintessentially itself than "awkward"?

I'm looking for examples...

blubber. it just looks....gross.

I agree. That is a gross word.

The thing is, "blubber" doesn't mean "gross". Blubber means body fat. And since the word blubber isn't made from body fat, or look like body fat, then it can't be the essence of itself like the word "awkward" is.

See what I'm getting at? I'm still trying to find another example. I'll post it, if I can find one.

yeah, but the word blubber looks really bloated. with all those b's in there is just looks fat to me.

maybe its just me.

I hate that word, and it is definitely an awkward one.

Doesn't really fit what I am going for here, though. A word that is the essence of its definition.
