Some of you may or may not know this, but Vaughn's girlfriend Shanna is not a big fan of mine. This is entirely understandable because to this date, our only interaction has been almost solely confrontational, either regarding constructive criticism that I have offered Vaughn on a couple of his art projects or discussions involving sensitive topics

Done. I'll take this off the friends filter so she can view it, if you will let her know where to find it. I just didn't want to potentially air it out to the entire planet without some form of go-ahead.

I'm willing to bet Shanna and I do have alot in common, and the odds are that somewhere down the road, we will meet. I just wanted to, at least try to help bury or somehow dull any hatchet she may be holding for me.

While this post was mostly about setting things straight with her, I also wanted to make sure that you and I are ok too. And if I had offended you in any way, I wanted to try to mitigate any damage done. It's good to know that you and I are cool, as I very much value our friendship.

I'm sending positive thoughts Shanna's way for a good result regarding her MRI this weekend.

Wow. When I first started reading this post, I could only think about funny things to respond with. Things like, "Half-truths my ass", and "Thanks for the backwards face", etc. Touche on the old comment, mofo!

But seriously, I think you and Shanna will dig each other person, just like you thought. She's a really cool chick, and if Shanna is reading this, C is one of the best people in the world I've met. It's funny that C credits me with his debating technique, when I credit him most for my thick skin. Yes, he can rip a person to shreds in an instant, but he will always be there for his friends when needed most. Shanna, I hope that you one day get to meet C, and come to love him like the rest of us. I didn't get to read the posts that led to this one, but I know that in person, everyone will get along fabulously.

in defense of chris... yes, he can be an asshole. to be fair though the only real non-asshole in our group of five (trev, chris, jake, me, and erik) is erik. and not by much. i think this comes from us constantly arguing and voicing our disdain with one anothers position on whatever we happen to be yelling about at that moment

Thank you for your graciousness, Shanna. I absolutely hate it when I give a bad first impression, so I greatly appreciate you allowing us a fresh start. I am confident that when our paths do finally cross, that we will become fast friends.
