Holy shit I've never felt one so big, ever. And the aftershocks.... we've gone through at least 8 or 9 at this point, and they are still cming

I've heard on the news that it's the largest one in ages, actually the one they were waiting for since 80 years. :/ My sister is in Tokyo right now, too, talk about unlucky. Good to hear you are home safely. Well, as safely as you can be with an earthquake like that. :|

I don't know anything about waiting 80 years, but all my neighbors, esp the older ones, have all said it was the biggest they've ever felt... hope your sis is okay!

Ah well, that's what they said on the news. I've experiences tiny earthquakes on holidays and found them okay (I... don't even think we get them here, at least not noticeable ones), but can't imagine how bad a real big one must be. The Tsunamis are definitely scary on their own!

the little ones are fine, but this one was pretty scary, and the constant aftershocks were just as scary as the first!

I'm so glad you're okay!!! I was worried... it must have been terrifying. I didn't feel it here in Kyoto, but Osaka's getting the tsunami too.
