She spies Cyrus down the hall and notes him as a passenger she hasn't met before.]

Ah, hello!

[The sudden voice has him tensing up, because while Vie spotted him, he did no such thing in return. But just from the greeting he learned three things: the person was female, unknown, and friendly.

Cyrus relaxes turns his head in the direction of the voice. If Vie is close enough, she might notice a cloudy cover on his blue eyes.]

Uh, hi. Do I know you?

[She's watching him carefully, noting his reaction to her voice and steadily approaching. It probably doesn't help Cyrus that her footsteps are pretty much silent.]

No, I don't recall you and I ever meeting before.

[And then she notices his eyes. That would explain a lot.]

I mean no offense, Sir, but are you blind?

[No, it doesn't. But he notices her movement, so he's not completely unaware. To her question, he lets out a small laugh.]

Just a little. Had an... incident a while ago, and I'm still not used to it.

[Toph has finally managed to figure out that Aang's room is on deck five. But that doesn't tell her where on deck five.

So here she is, reduced to wandering aimlessly and hoping that she'll hear him or something.

She's hardly paying any attention to where she's going, holding her cane at her side and instead using the wall to guide her.

Were those footsteps she heard just around the next corner? Though Toph starts to listen, she doesn't actually stop walking--]

[Bonk! Cyrus walks right into Toph and stumbles back.]
