EXTREMELY LEGIT QUESTION.

Okay, so, the term 'lesbian' came from the island of Lesbos 'round Greece, right? Now, would you call the people of that place lesbians, even if they were male?

I was about to Google 'Lesbos,' then I was like 'I would have to sift through so much porn before I got to the island.' And then I thought 'Greek island lesbos.' I'd just get porn but with added Greek women. I can't win.

YES. and i just looked it up on wikipedia. |D
CHECK THIS OUT.
pretty much says the same thing though.

In 2008, the Lesbian islanders lost a court case against the Homosexual and Lesbian Community of Greece. The Lesbian islanders had requested a legal injunction to bar homosexual groups from using the word "lesbian" in their names, which the Lesbian islander petitioners claim violates their human rights as it is "insulting" and disgraces them around the world.

pffff... wow....
