I saw a Sparklehorse gig a good while ago, and it wasn't my personal taste but I'm shocked to hear that Mark Linkous is dead.

I'm still battling through House of Leaves, I read a couple of pages of it a day and have to take a break. I'm finding it incredibly hard going but not in an unenjoyable way!

Hmm. It does take a while to get through, especially when the formatting goes Escher ... rewarding enough to make it worth persevering though.
