Hello there. I'm new.

I'm not at all sure what I should write about for my first post so I'll post some of my photography (I used to want to be a photographer but like everything else I do in life I decided I knew better than anyone and was completely self taught. Very striking picture, that (as is the next one you've posted; I had no idea you had those negative feelings towards York, by the way, and I'm sorry to hear that - familiarity breeds contempt - but the picture is gorgeous nonetheless!)

I was really sad to hear about Simon Marsden too - one of those rare photographers whose personal style really sets them apart.

I've only been to York twice in the last two and a half years I think, perhaps even a bit longer. The entire place just has a weird bitter feeling for me now.

Saying that though I really enjoyed the Demons screening, perhaps the crowd and 'slight' drunkenness made me feel better.

Demons was indeed fun. As long as a stupid film where a helicopter bursts randomly through the ceiling and beer are involved, I hope that'd be enough to chase the ghosts away!
