[Video] #006

[Behold, an update where Spencer isn't surrounded by coffee. Instead she's staring at the mirror in her room which suddenly has no glass in it. At least, until she begins the video]

So...should I be worried that the mirrors suddenly have no glass in them?

Is this something that's happened before?

...To my knowledge, no.

[He reaches out a hand, running pale, slender fingers along the frame of a large mirror nearby.]

But it still troubles you. At least enough for it to be cause for concern.

Is this connected to the mirror selves?

Probably. I'm worried my hair will never be perfectly coiffed again without glass in any of the mirrors.

[Priorities, he has them!]

[Have a raised eyebrow. That wasn't quite what Spencer had in mind]

That...seriously? That's the biggest concern you have right now?

It's a huge concern! [He's totally serious. Just look at him! ] I can't just not style my hair all week, and it's incredibly difficult to get it perfect without use of a mirror.

Besides, it could be worse. The Mirrors switch places with us whenever they come over here and without any glass in the mirrors we can easily get back to this side. They'll probably see there's no point to coming here at all, so it's really a non-issue.

[Perfectly logical. and also completely wrong. Oops]

I'm sure you'll live.

Anyway, I wouldn't consider it a non-issue. If we can cross into their world and back so easily now, don't you think it'll be the same for them?

The glass has disappeared? [He sets down the filled flask and walks over to the mirror.]

It seems you are right. [He tilts his head, clenching his jaw.] If he is intelligent, he will avoid coming here...

[This gets Spencer's interest]

He? He who?

[He looks over his shoulder.]

My mirror. If he is to come here, he will regret crossing me...

You think that's why the glass is gone?

Maybe it's related to how the windows won't close.

They won't? I'd noticed they were open but it's so nice out I didn't bother trying to close them.

After a while, I got annoyed so I tried to close them. Then they just came back up for no reason.

Well that's different. Tame by this place's standards, though.

Karkat! I was hoping to speak to you.

Which side of the mirror are you?

forevercapslock April 3 2011, 20:55:15 UTC
THE SIDE I'M NORMALLY ON.
FOR NOW ANYWAY.

WHY DID YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME? WHAT'S UP?

scary_enough April 3 2011, 21:07:41 UTC
[Well that's certainly different]

Well...Wesker says he met the mirror version of you. I just wondered if that meant you'd been the other side of the mirror or if this is a whole new type of different and troubling.
