I found out that my homework (due on thursday) in Graphic Design class is to take a bunch of pictures regarding the GD principles. easy enough, I just have to rent a camera (btw, the teacher hasn't showed up yet, that's why I'm on LJ

Anime Club

Is there an anime Club at BYU-I? There used to be one but I haven't heard anything about a new one and I would be interested in attending.

apparently there was one recently and not enough people came so it didn't last.
sad, because i thought it was still around and have been trying to find it.

I wonder how you can start up a club?

There is a process of submission. It supposedly is easier now than it used to be. But I still don't know how to start the process. But the anime club always had problems. First because the word club denotes drinking alcohol. Lame, mostly only people from Utah have that definition of club. Second one of the people who sat on the board for approval was a bishop and he stated that anime lead to one of his members becoming addicted to porn. But the last obstacle is finding enough appropriate anime that can be shown. So it was unofficial for a long time. But we kept some passwords and found some unused rooms to have it in. But really if you would like I have some, my brother has some on his comp that I can get. If you want to get together some time, Sundays are easiest for me, we could watch some. Seems like you yourself have an interesting collection. Look me up on stalker net. James Nieuwenhuis

Let me know if you find out anything about starting a club. I will help. I do have enough suitable anime to get the thing started. After that you can usually count on people who show up to have a few things as well.

Do you think you'll call or show up? It seems a little creepy even to me. But hey, how else are you gonna meet new people =D
