Either way you decide to go, try and get your machine flashed. That way you can do so much more with it. And no, I don't mean merely downloading games so you don't have to carry around tons of game cards, but watching movies and playing old school console emulated games like NES, SNES, PS1 (if you get a psp), etc.
I spend more time with my DS though because it's a more party-friendly gaming console.
As for your question, I really like sitting on the floor when I'm doing things like homework and such too, except we got rid of the one low-level table we have and now I have to sit on a chair :( Futons help though, to ease butt crampiness!
I have a hard time find game emulators that don't download viruses or crap up my machine with stuff.
what emulator do you use? or which do you recomend?
also i'm gonna get a DS I'm just sad that there's nothing great coming out, and that Japan is keeping all the good ones. answer to that would be to learn japanese right? lol.
For gameboy advance games, look for an emulator called No$GBA, for the DS, they have one called DeSMuME and iDeaS.
Download these from their respective homepages and you won't get a virus :) And for roms and info and stuff, go to dgemu.com, they have great forums for this kind of stuff.
Ugh, I know what you mean! I even took a Japanese class last year so I could start understanding the language. Sadly, it didn't help at all. :(
I own a Futon and it's great. My family has beds, but we have been moving around a lot of furniture for the past half year, and therefore I have been sleeping on the futon for the past half year.
It is great for apartments, and it is very aesthetically pleasing! During the day, you can keep it down like a bed, or pull it up to add more space. This will make your living room, or whatever room, look spacious.
You can use bed sheets to cover your futon and decorate it with pillows. Use different sheets to create different looks.
Futons are comfortable, but not as comfortable as a wire-spring mattress.
