OK. Talking about bands on Ephraim’s meme has inspired me to do my own. I am astonished to find that I can’t even get to 20, let alone 30 bands that anyone will have heard of, but I am pleased to note that a fair few of them I saw on either their first or only UK tour, so what they lack in number they make up for in rarity value. Yep, I saw Crass during the first flush of gigging following my DK start. They were OK, but had a tendency to let anyone who happened to be living in the commune with them at the time have a turn on stage. So poetry happened, much to the disgust of the skinhead element. I suspect the girl in question was accustomed to being bottled off stage though...

I couldn't blank Dread; I was on speed, so it remains in my memory with crystal clarity. I don't think I've ever danced so much...

I've only seen 9, 12 and 16, although I have tickets for 10 in June. I really wish I'd had chance to see the Black Crowes. What were they like?

Excellent, it was the promotional tour for their first album, and they supported.. Dogs? Sats? I can't remember exactly and they absolutely blew everyone away. None of us had ever heard of them.
