I recently read "Dear AIG: I Quit!" in the NY Times, which was a letter written up by former AIG-FP exec Jim DeSantis about how horribly wronged he and all the other AIG-FP execs have been by the media and the government over their bonus pay.

And, I gotta say, it was pretty damn hard to feel sorry for him.  There was one single point he made (

See, I disagree with the pitchfork to the stomach bit. As he'd just been talking about plumbers, it should be a pipe wrench to the stomach, and then, perhaps, a toilet snake up the rectum.... Since DeSantis is so completely full of shit.

Y'know, I worked 10, 12, 14 hours a day... and didn't receive anything close to $700,000 in compensation. If you add up my lifetime earnings, I don't think I've made that much ever.
