Supreme Court spends yesterday ruining America

Taxpayers can't sue the executive when it uses taxpayer money to promote religion. For those playing at home, it means that nobody can. It's also likely that this means that the supreme court is stacked in such a way as to remove most judicial oversight over the executive.

Everything I've read on it said it was a "public function", like a city-thing, and not officially part of the school curriculum. If it was one of those pseudo-school functions, it may muddy the issue, but the fact that the content of the speech promoted something illegal in a retarded, but joking way doesn't justify stifling the speech.

I'd feel worse about it if the kid had been saying something useful.
