For months, I've been trying to find miniature candles the right diameter for 1:6 scale pillar candles. Birthday candles were too thin, mini tapers were too thin. I was looking for candles roughly the diamater of crayons. And now I have finally found them

Warm them slightly in hot water and then cut around them with a razor blade (like using a pipe cutter instead of slicing straight through)?

I'm going to try using metal beading wire like a garrotte :)
