Thanks to aimeekitty, I have discovered the joy and wonder that is Spoonflower. They print fabric from your designs, and I FINALLY did something I've been wanting to do for 9 million years. I designed the cartoon version of Outta My Way.

Aw, she looks great! I know they sell scale belt buckles through most doll parts companies, and you can usually get them wholesale. Spoonflower is awesome. So far, I've just used them for human sized stuff, but do need to work on some dolly things.

Btw, your Elvis came in -- let me know where/when to send it, and we'll swap for my Tonks. I just discovered the latest Ken Fashionistas have articulated bodies (d'oh) so may make my Weasley boy(s) out of those once I have some time/space (ha ha ha ha) to do rerooting again.

I ordered some white ones, but they really weren't what I was looking for. Whereas I think the ribbon sliders match the illustration more closely. And I got a bazillion for all of $5 with shipping, so I'm not too fussed.

I still need to get your Tonks head back from Sal. or should I just have him send it straight to you? He's finishing up the last 2 reroots before he sends back all the heads.

Hmmm...whichever is easiest for you in terms of shipping. I'm easy that way. Do you want your doll deboxed or boxed?

I definitely need to go In Search Of a body for Tonks -- right now, I'm swimming in cartons of new NRFB dolls that just came in and I have no idea where to put them. ACK!

Deboxed is fine :)

My digs resemble a factory still. I really really really need to lure my coworker down to Chicago, to take away the GINORMOUS BOX of playscale dolls.

Typically what I've seen with the doll patterns I've used...sew up one side, do the hems, sew up other side.

I will probably get some stuff from Spoonflower one of these days. Saves my own printer in any event. XD What you've got there looks like it has a nice satiny finish.

and you have someone willing to cast you SHOES!! SO VERY jealous!!!

I find it best to hem things when they are still flat, if you see what I mean.

Also my sewing mantra is "HEM FUCKING EVERYTHING" XD
