After months of obsessively listening to NPR and getting incredibly wrapped up in the campaigning, debating, and fact-finding, the election is finally over. i love this. are you really sending this letter? i think you should pick a local paper and send it!

also, your first paragraph is totally me...except i can't stop consuming political news! i was actually nominated for president of the counseling honor society this past week, and i had to nominate someone to run against me because i need the election drama. i joked that i was going to make campaign posters to hang around campus and "heather for chi sigma iota president" t-shirts...except i was kind of serious. do you think yard signs would be taking it a bit far??

oh, and florida's amendment 2 (same as california's prop 8) passed as well... :( i am hanging on to hope that with enough backlash, we can repeal it...
