I just watched this ep & I SO LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even tho it appears I was wrong about my earlier crazy speculation. I have so many more questions now. There are only 3 eps left in this season so I wonder how much we will find out before the end of the season.
OH MY GOD I had a bad feeling about Rebecca from the first time she appeared. I love that she is more evil than I thought. : ) All those files on everyone is seriously creepy. To do all that surveillance she would have needed help & it couldn't have been Hagen because he was in jail. So was someone helping her? Is there a third person involved?
If they are working together was it from the start or did they meet up later? Why would Hagen be watching who was coming and going from her apartment? He seemed quite surprised to find out he was being framed for forgery. But then why would Rebecca need all that surveillance of Neal and the White Collar division to get the codex? Is the gem really worth all this trouble? Did Rebecca kill Hagen & Siegel? Was Siegel involved with them?
Earlier I had the thought that she wasn't fired from the museum, she quit because now that the codex is gone she didn't need to be there anymore. I mentioned before that when Neal stole the codex and that other guy was stealing the painting, neither of them set off the alarm. I think it was either Rebecca or her accomplice who did. Maybe She wanted Neal to get arrested then but he managed to get away. So that could be why she went to the FBI (supposedly to see Peter) she really wanted to see Neal and start to con him into telling her about the Codex.
POOR NEAL!!!!!!! I knew he was going to get his heart broken really bad. OH THE ANGST!!!!! : ) Now I am worried about Mozzie. He doesn't know about Rebecca. Will Neal be able to contact him before He meet ups with her to take her to a safe house. What if tell her he is the Codex?
I am going to have to watch this again & again.
