Anko's Dreamscape

You enter the dreamscape on what appears to be a dirt road. It looks simple enough. The sun slants down in a late afternoon/early twilight manner and there are trees everywhere along the sides of the road. In front of you is one large-ish-looking wood building, non-descript. Behind you is the tree-line. There are three options:

Left Hallway - Meeting Anko at some point? mere_shopkeeper March 8 2011, 07:25:42 UTC
It's always the nondescript places that contain the most interesting things. At least in Urahara's estimation. Or maybe it's just because he himself would place more interesting memories in nondescript things. Either way, he's stepping into the building, heading down the hallway on the right to begin with, but the first door he tries is locked, and there's no point in forcing entry.

Yet.

So he turns around and heads down the more sunlit hallway, stepping into one of the rooms where the door has been left ajar.

The atmosphere inside the room seems calm, at first, when he enters. It's elegant, traditional, and all the implements for a practice tea ceremony are set up. A little girl who can't be older than eleven or so, in a kimono, sits over the tools, concentrating very hard on Not Spilling the Tea. Anko's purple-ish hair and amber eyes are unmistakable.

Just behind her sits a man with sallow skin and long dark hair, for once out of his uniform, in a kimono himself. To anyone who knows it, she is clearly practicing a Japanese tea ceremony.

To see Anko pouring tea was mostly definitely not something Urahara was expecting to see, at least not if the expression on his face was anything to go by. But he moves into the room a little more, his gaze not on Anko, but rather on the man sitting behind her, obviously much more curious about him than why Anko was practicing a Japanese tea ceremony.

Not that he wasn't curious, but one curiosity outweighed the other.

It was all going so well too... until, with a clumsy fumble of the fingers, the young Anko loses hold of the tea whisk, knocking over the (fortunately empty--it is just a practice, after all) cup as well as she tries to catch it. Scrambling, she sets everything upright again, the chagrin on her face making it clear she knew she had messed up. "Aaaaa, Orochimaru-sama, I'm never going to get this," she opines to the man sitting behind her.

He looks disappointed, and a little bit frustrated, though no where near as she sounds. "You are my student, you will surely grasp it, eventually." A cutting choice of words, thanks to her blunder, but while there is not much kindness in his voice, it's very certain in this assertion.

The building caught his attention almost immediately, especially the mark on the lock. He knew that mark anywhere, and knew what it meant. Briefly, Sasuke's hand reached up to cover his own seal, but it was dropped quickly before he went inside.

Sasuke didn't even take much of a glance around inside the building before he headed right. He didn't know why he did it, he just did. As he walked down the hallway, he glanced around, finally taking the time to observe, and stopping when he spots a doorway without a door. Curious, he steps closer to it in order to peek inside.
