Does anyone have recommended recipes for Christmas cake and Christmas pudding.

I can get my mother's cake recipe, which is fabulous... I'm very fond of Mrs. Beeton's old fashioned Rich Christmas pudding, myself, when it comes to pudding. But you have missed Stir Up Sunday by at least a week, it's true!

Actually, on looking it up, you're wrong - which wonderfully means I am too:

Sun 22 Nov 2009: Christ the King - The Sunday next before Advent

Post Communion:
Stir up, O Lord,

My mum used to use this recipe. It's taken from Cookery in Colour by Marguerite Patten and was published in 1960
