A jar without a lid is just a cup.

. . . an empty cup.

Never to be filled.

If my jar is filled, whatever is inside will go bad without a lid.

Life and lids are depressing.

I don't even see how you can be depressed while updating a livejournal on a page that's pink and white and has a huge cat on it, that'd make me smile all too much.
