i can now say that the book is definitely better. (i saw the movie first). it's so sad to think that it's all true. it's how my grandfather grew up in ireland. his family was even worse off though; several of his siblings did end up in orphanages.
You should do the british thing my teacher just told me about... hold up your pinky and wiggle it, roll your eyes and scoff. It's like the jerking off sign but just a little less crude. ;) Seriously though, I usually just dance violently in a way that makes it known I'm not dancing for or with people, I'm dancing for myself. Hehe.
ahaha, is that what they do, then? how funny, i've never heard that. i think....... we should command our army of protective gay friends to dance in a circle around us, so we are safe from the straight herd.
she was telling me about the parade today via the phone. she said her favorite part was some man on a wagon being pulled by a truck (he had no sign or anything. no one knew who he was) but he was a "little furry man with a boom box and tighty-whiteys who liked to dance...alot. oo;" /endquote. XD;
aye, that's our hotel room. we (me and da girl) slept on that, while the people who got there first (and uh, also paid for the room) got the real beds. ...........i was lying on a real one when i took that, you see...
